I have been having problems uploading clips from our performance, but if you missed it and want to see us perform come to the final prize giving for the year. Our Kapa Haka group will be performing live!! This happens next Thursday, the prize giving starts at 9:30 over in the Pipe Band Hall.

Well Done !!!

Well done everyone. You sang your hearts out and it was ataahua. We are all very proud of you. Next week I will be posting a video clip of the performance. So watch this space! A big thank you to Anaru and all of the adults who have supported us with our journey, from cutting up apples every week to watching and supporting us in learning our songs. Remember we will still be learning new songs and practice on Wednesdays.
Please remember we no longer have any after school practices on Fridays.I will send a note home next week.

Wow!

Well done everyone you have all come a long way and I agree with Anaru. It is so good to see how far you have come and how everyone's confidence has grown. You should all be very proud of yourselves. Remember to keep singing and practise the actions to the songs ready for our trip on Thursday. Don't forget to bring your permission slips back ASAP. Have a great weekend.

Awesome Work Guys!

Well done! You sounded fantastic today. We only have around four weeks before our big performance.  Please remember to use this time to sing and learn the actions. Girls you have four weeks to track down/borrow black tights. Boys it would be great if you could all wear black shorts, if not I am tracking down as many of the school rugby shorts (If you have any school uniforms at home please bring them in). I would like everyone to come and see me during the week to try on a school t-shirt. Have a great long weekend.

Thank you to everyone who came and supported our Kapahaka group on Friday. It was awesome to be able to share our journey with you. We plan to have more performances like this so that our tamariki can get used to singing to an audience, we will keep you updated. You made me smile all afternoon, we are all very proud of you.
